In this game, you help a little girl who is lonely.

Also, there is violence and guns and heavy metal.

This is my last entry in the "Bullet-Hell Hotline Miami" genre. If you enjoy it, you will probably also like my games Gun Orphan and Dubstep Ghost.

Controls:

Movement - WASD / Arrow Keys

Aim - Mouse

Shoot - Left Click

Activate Thrusters - Shift / Space

Bullet Capture Ability - Right Click / Alt

Reset the current level - R

Technical

I support recent versions (less then two years old) of:

If you are playing on Opera, turn off mouse gestures, otherwise the control scheme will result in you opening and closing random tabs.

On Firefox, shift-right click is a hotkey, so be sure to use space instead of shift to activate your thrusters.

Pretty much all browsers use Alt for hotkeys, play full-screen to suppress this behavior.

The snake game from the loading screen is based on this guy's code. I know how to program snake, I'm just lazy.

Pretty fun except for the dance part. The inputs are WAAAAAY off from what the actual beat of the music is which makes it sloppy to play.

someone please tell me how to beat the level with the three shooters and those regenerating freaks im about to start crying

I really liked the game. Would you like to put a downloadable version?

Great game. I love the mix of gameplay.

Man, this game ROCKS!
I love the story, the characters, the music OMG!!!

But still I've made a few notes while I was playing:
Give command-line a TAB feature for a full immersion :D
Rhytm game needs a fix, because the notes do not follow the song and I've had to mute it

Cheers!

I considered the inclusion of a tab feature, but ultimately omitted it as scope creep. If enough people ask I'll add it.

The notes should be following the song. If you don't mind, could you let me know if you are using one of the tested browsers (Firefox/Chrome/Chromium based)? Also, what OS are you accessing the game from? Do the notes scroll smoothly, or is there jitter?

Thanks!

I'm using Google Chrome 91.0.4472.77 on Windows 10. Notes run smoothly, but seem offbeat a little.
I do not exclude that this is just me, but if I'm the only one who think they are offbeat means that the problem was between my chair and my keyboard :D

Ah cool - probably personal preference then? I did the beat mapping with osu, so it definitely lines up with the song tempo wise. I'm not super-familiar with rhythm game idioms, so it's possible there is some "game feel" voodoo you've grown accustomed to which I haven't implemented.

Right now if you hit the beat slightly off center the drum sound will also play off beat, and the window for hitting a beat is pretty permissive (like a quarter of a second). So if you are  consistently getting "Goods" instead of "Perfects" there will be a disconnect between your input  and the song, even though the game is grading you well.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the extra info! If more people have issues with the rhythm game I'll look into the problem some more.
